OMG, Republicans. STOP. Stop ruining everything that is hilarious. You know how once in a while conservatives get together and make a list of all the government-funded stuff they don't think is worth spending money on, in order to make liberals look like wicked cutpurses swindling bewildered old grannies?* (In this metaphor, America is the granny.) And also to draw attention away from things that are maybe actually expensive, such as defense spending and imprisoning millions and millions of low-level drug offenders? WELL. They're at it again, and this time one of the frivolities in their sights is a Yale ornithologist who received $400,000 to study duck penises. It's a relatively small amount of money, in the grand scheme of government spending, but it happens to combine conservatives' two least favorite things: scientific progress and sexy intercourse. Therefore, ABOLISH IT.
As Michael Tomasky at the Daily Beast points out, NO. NO NO NO. Not only are duck penises worthy of study, they are also hella interesting and weird. And if you, like me, have been having nightmares and daymares about that terrifying slow-motion video of the unfurling duck penis (see above, bladow!!!) for yeeeeeeeears now, you understand why it's important to get to the bottom of these things. Before they get to the bottom of you. Uncomfortable linemouth. '_'
Long story short, male ducks are rapists with exploding harpoon-penises.
Here, in Prum's words, is what he studied and learned:
"Most birds don't have a penis. Ducks do. They still have it from the reptilian ancestor that they shared with mammals," he said.
The duck's penis is stored inside the body, and when it becomes erect, the process of insemination is "explosive," Prum said. The duck's penis becomes erect within a third of a second, at the same time it enters the female duck's body. Ejaculation is immediate, and then the penis starts to regress. The length of the duck penis, as mentioned in the tweets, grows to 8 or 9 inches during the summer mating season. In winter, it shrinks to less than an inch.
In duck ponds, Prum said, a lot of forced copulation occurs. Forced copulation is what it sounds like — rape in nature. Even gang rape happens among ducks. And Prum found that while 40 to 50 percent of duck sex happens by forced copulation, only 2 to 4 percent of inseminations result from it (meaning times the female duck ends up with a fertilized egg).
But! But!!! The female duck literally has ways of shutting that whole thing down.
"The question is why does that happen? How does a female prevent fertilization by forced copulation?" he said. "The answer has to do with taking advantage of what males have evolved — this corkscrew shaped penis."
Prum said the duck penis is a corkscrew whose direction runs counterclockwise. Female ducks, he said, have evolved a complex vagina also shaped like a corkscrew — but a clockwise one.
"This is literally an anti-screw anatomy," he said.
When females choose their own partners — in other words, solicit copulation — the muscles in the vagina are dilated and expanded. So the anti-screw effect is negated.
"The females are enormously, amazingly successful at preventing fertilization by forced copulation," he said.
All of this is amazing and gross and hilarious and delightful and awful and fascinating. And, sorry, conservatives, you don't just get to stymie legit scientific research simply because it has the word "penis" in it. Dummies.
Every man easily can become a Muslim. Just have to say the Shahada before some witnesses. And here we go.
An aphrodisiac is a type of food or drink that has the effect of making those who eat or drink it more aroused in a sexual way. Aphrodisiacs can be categorized according to their mode of action into three groups: substances that increase libido (i.e., sexual desire, arousal), substances that increase sexual potency (i.e., effectiveness of erection) and substances that increase sexual pleasure. Some well-known aphrodisiacs are Tribulus terrestrins, Withania somnifera, Eurycoma longifolia, Avena sativa, Ginko biloba, and Psoralea coryifolia. Ethnobotanical surveys have indicated a large number of plants as aphrodisiacs. The paper reviews the recent scientific validation on traditionally used herbal plants as aphrodisiac herbs for the management of sexual disorder erectile dysfunction.
In peace, women are feminists. In wars, they are cowards, trading sexual signals for sympathy and protection.
It is the secret dream of every Swedish or German woman to marry a black men, or at least have sex with a black man. Every smart young African man should migrate to Europe. Free money, nice house, good sex!
The European Union’s 6 000-kilometre-long land border between Belarus, Moldova, Ukraine, the Russian Federation and its eastern Member States (Estonia, Finland, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Slovakia, Bulgaria and Romania) presents significant challenges for border control.
Overall the scale of irregular migration at all the eastern borders is much smaller than on any other migratory route into the EU and amounts to a fraction of a percent (0.1%) of the total. Until 2015, Ukraine was the main transit country both for the citizens of the CIS (mainly Georgians and Russians), and non-CIS irregular migrants (primarily Somali and Afghan nationals) aiming to reach the EU through its eastern borders. In addition, Ukraine is also a major route for migrants from the Caucasus region and Central Asian countries travelling towards (or from) the Russian Federation.
In 2015 a new migrant route appeared to open up: the so-called Arctic route through Russia over the land borders with Norway and Finland. About 6000 asylum applicants were counted between October and December. Most were originally from Afghanistan and Syria, although recently they have been joined by migrants of other nationalities. The main crossing point was Storskog, the only legal land border crossing between Norway and Russia, which saw 5 200 applications for asylum in 2015, compared to less than 10 the previous year. Migrants took to using bicycles to negotiate the border zone because pedestrian traffic is banned and drivers are fined if they give lifts to passengers without proper documents.
The Bangkok Yanhee Hospital has been offering penis enlargement surgery for some time. The latest craze, however, are Botox injections into the penis. Prices are about 300 USD. Effects last half year.
What is the pelvic floor?
The vagina itself is a muscular passage capable of great elasticity. It normally is less than an inch wide, but can dilate enough to accommodate a baby’s head during childbirth, and then return to its previous proportions. The muscles surrounding the vagina which help maintain this tone are the Levator Ani, made up of the pubococcygeus, puborectalis and the ileococcygeus, and the pelvic fascia, together forming the muscular partition known as the pelvic diaphragm or pelvic floor, through which the vagina passes.
What do the the pelvic floor muscles do?
The pelvic muscles prevent uncontrol leakage of urine by contracting when coughing, sneezing or straining. The pelvic floor muscles support the organs of the abdomen while standing. The pelvic floor muscles protect the pelvic organs from external damage. The pelvic muscles keep the pelvic organs in their place. The pelvic floor muscles help when urinating, having gases and bowel movements. The pelvic muscles have a role while having sex.
Like for any other muscle, they need to be fit and properly toned to fulfill their functions.
Causes of a weak pelvic floor
Under use. Like for any other muscle the pelvic muscles need to be trained to work properly. Regular exercising of these muslces needs to be done all thoughtout life. Pregnancy and giving birth. Ageing decreases muscle tone. Long term straining when being constipated, chronic cough or obesity.
Consequences of a weak pelvic floor
Weak plevic floor muscles may cause or worsen some conditions like:
Stress incontinence. Urge incontinence. Mixed urinary incontinence. Fecal incontinence. Pelvic organ prolapse. A loss of vaginal sensivity.
These physical issues take a huge toll on women. Not only does socializing become a problem, having to stay in close vicinity of a bathroom at all times, but constant 'dribbling' of urine cause have a massive psychological impact. In addition there are issues with maintaining proper hygiene, increased chances of developing urinary tract infections, and giving off an offensive smell because of the urine. Another one of the biggest problems women with loose vaginas face is that not only does it make intercourse less pleasurable for them, but also for their partners. This reduces their quality of life together, often causing dissatisfaction and emotional discord between couples. Even culturally speaking, urban myths doom a woman with a loose vagina to be rumored promiscuous - but there is a simple solution - vaginal tightening. A loose vagina is not an insurmountable problem.
The role of vaginal tightening
Vaginal tightening techniques have been around for ages. Increased awareness and self empowerment among women has lead to more women learning how to tighten their vaginas properly, whether it is clenching exercises like Kegels, or using specialized equipment like vaginal cones and ben-wa balls. These also help in vaginal tightening by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles, which helps women to 'clench' better, and passively improves vaginal muscle tone as well. With time, not only can the 'grip' be gotten back, but urinary incontinence due to loose muscles can be cured, and more intense orgasms achieved. It's a completely resolvable matter- a loose vagina does not have to mean the end of the world, the end of your social life, or the end of your relationship.
Vaginal tightening treatments
As with any other muscles, the vaginal walls and in fact the entire pelvic floor needs to retain strength and tone what can be done in a number of different ways.
Vaginal tightening surgery
Vaginal tightening surgery, also known as Vaginoplasty rejuvenates a woman's vagina, tightening muscles and repairing soft tissues. Full recovery from a vaginal tightening surgery takes up to 6-8 weeks and you will have to stay away from strenuous activity and sports throughout the healing process. Prices generally start at $5,000 dollars and the vaginal tightening procedure has lots of possible side effects such as pain, discomfort, bleeding and swelling.
Vaginal tightening exercises - Kegels
Kegel exercises to get a tighter vagina are now being performed daily by thousands of women worldwide. Kegels require squeezing the pelvic muscles, lifting them inwards and upwards. Even tough there are many benefits of doing Kegel exercises and they are a proven to be an excellent method for regaining tone, vaginal tightness and strength, most of the time they are not performed the right way putting undue pressure on the abdomen and inadvertently work larger muscle groups such as the buttocks and stomach.
Vaginal tightening products
They are many vaginal tightening products made with 100% all natural herbal medicinal plants that have very strong astringent properlies as well as properties that will help keep a healthy vaginal balance. They come in such forms as creams, gels, pills, tablets, capsules, sticks, wands, oils, soaps, washes and contain at least one of the following herbal extracts that have been used for centuries in Asia; Manjakani (Quercus infectoria), Alum (Argilla Vitriolutum), the Woodfordia floribunda (Woodfordia fruticosa) and Kacip Fatimah (Labisia pumila).
By removing dead cells and replacing them with newer ones, by healing internal wounds, preventing irritation, disconfort, infection, itching & burning, encouraging natural lubrication, promoting attractive odor and delaying ageing effects these vagina tightening products will help you tighten your vagina and can be used while doing Kegels or after a surgery to speed up the recovery process.
Biofeedback for Vaginal tightening
Biofeedback for vaginal tightening requires to insert a sensor, also known as an electrode or vaginal probe into the vagina. The vaginal probe, connected to a visual and/or sound system, lets you see and/or hear the contraction while execising your pelvic floor muscles. Based the feedback given by the device, through the colour of the light and/or the intensity of the sound, you will know whether the muscular contraction is done properly or not.
The biofeedback allows you to correct the contraction while doing the exercises on your own, as well as allowing you to gradually increase the effort and duration. The biofeedback will help you get more and more confident knowing that you are correctly contracting your pelvic floor muscles and properly carrying out your exercices.
Pelvic floor stimulators for Vaginal tightening
Pelvic floor electrical stimulation is a very effective technique that uses low frequency electrical currents, transmitted by a small electronic probe inserted into the vagina to stimulate your pelvic floor muscles deep down, inducing contractions of the pelvic floor muscles and consequently tightening your vagina.
Repeated pelvic floor electrical stimulation will tighten your pelvic muscles and restore pelvic health and bladder control while increasing the blood flow, reducing infection risks and allowing for a healthy cell renewal.
Biofeedback and pelvic floor stimulator devices are an amazing alternative to manual exercises and a quick, safe and easy alternative to surgery. These pelvic floor toners will help you regain vaginal tightness without putting the body under undue stress and strain.
Even though manual pelvic floor exercises can be performed effectively for vaginal tightening, studies have shown that over 50% of women do not perform pelvic floor muscle contractions the right way and that manual pelvic floor exercises target only up to 40% of the pelvic floor muscles whereas using an electronic pelvic floor toner targets up to 90% of the muscles of the pelvic floor.
Female genital mutilation is no preventive treatment against some women, especially in India just becoming bitches who can think of nothing then getting fucked all day. They tried it in Somalia for centuries, and it failed. Somali girls are the wildest fuckers in the world.
March 23, 1999 - There is increasing evidence that terrorist attacks of tomorrow could include the use of poison gases, deadly bacteria, or crude nuclear weapons. This is the major finding of a new book by one of the leading experts on weapons of mass destruction, Council on Foreign Relations Fellow Jessica Stern. This conclusion is backed up by evidence, studies, and interviews.
Sounding what former Secretary of Defense William J. Perry calls "a wake-up call for all Americans," and former National Security Adviser Anthony Lake terms "an important alarm [that he hopes] is widely heard," Dr. Stern warns that the 21st century could witness low-technology terrorist attacks employing chemical, radiological, or biological agents. While the likelihood of mass-casualty attacks is low, governments cannot afford to ignore the danger.
In The Ultimate Terrorists, Dr. Stern cites recent developments that have contributed to this new terrorism:
-- New motivating factors, such as religious conviction or apocalyptic beliefs, have created a new breed of terrorists, unconstrained by traditional ethics or political pressures.
-- The break-up of the Soviet Union has brought nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons components onto the black market and has rendered former Soviet scientists desperate, some of whom may be a source of expertise for terrorists.
-- The Internet is making weapons-related information more accessible to terrorists, including weapons design and poison manuals.
-- Advanced industrial societies are particularly vulnerable to weapons of mass destruction, which are most efficiently used against people living in high concentration.
Drawing on both her Council research and her experience working with the White House to prevent nuclear terrorism, Dr. Stern explains the motivations of terrorists, points out specific circumstances that threaten safety, and offers steps the U.S. and other governments can take to prevent attacks and to mitigate the damage of those that occur. She also discusses the reasons poisons and nuclear materials inspire hysteria among the populace, and how to prevent the public panic that could be as dangerous as an actual attack. Finally, Dr. Stern discusses the need to improve public safety without compromising basic constitutional rights, such as freedom of expression.
Jessica Stern is a Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. She is a former director of Russian, Ukrainian, and Eurasian Affairs at the National Security Council.
The Council on Foreign Relations, founded in 1921 and based in New York, is a national nonpartisan membership organization and think tank dedicated to fostering America’s understanding of other nations through study and debate.

As the country grapples with the challenge of lifestyle counterfeit medicines, anti-malarial and antibiotics, health experts have raised the alarm over existence of fake sexual enhancement drugs.
Pharmacy and Poisons Board head of crime investigations and enforcement unit Dennis Otieno on Wednesday said that the most faked sexual enhancement drug was Viagra.
According to him, the first seizure of the Vega tablets was in 2015 at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
Mr Otieno said the tablets which were valued at Sh4 million had been wrapped in cartons to prevent detection.
"We arrested the suspects and took them to court where they faced charges of being in possession of falsified medicines," he said.
In Mombasa, he added, they seized approximately 20 cartons of falsified Enzoy Plus at a Container Freight Station the same year.
The fake medicine, he said, had been packed in cartons in small pallets at the CFS in Mombasa.
"So far, we have encountered the two brands, Vega tablets and Enzoy Plus, in the war against illicit medicine in the country," he said.
He noted that both the counterfeit Viagra which was seized at JKIA and in Mombasa originated from China.
But Mr Otieno said since the two seizures in 2015, they had not encountered new cases of counterfeit Viagra due to the effective war against fake medicines.
"Through cooperation with the Kenya Revenue Authority, the Mombasa port authorities, anti-counterfeit agency, the police and other agencies we have been able to address the counterfeit challenges," he said.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of an international workshop on combating counterfeiting and piracy at PrideInn Beach Resort in Mombasa on Wednesday, Mr Otieno warned that the risk of taking counterfeit medicine was death.
"It is dangerous for people to consume falsified Viagra as it can cause death or the user can be maimed for life," he warned.
The other medicines which are being counterfeited, he added, were anti-malarial and antibiotics.
He said it is a daunting task to detect the counterfeit medicine, adding that there is need for government agencies to combine efforts in addressing the menace.
In order to tackle the challenge, he added, the Poisons Board has to carry out strict post-market surveillance across the country to counter fake medicine.
However, Mr Otieno said the challenge of counterfeit medicine was minimal due to the government's efforts to combat the menace on its borders and entry points.
The Institute of Research Against Counterfeit Medicines (IRACM) director of studies Wilfred Roge, said in the four operations which were carried out on the African continent between 2012 and 2016, they seized Sh800 million illicit and counterfeit medicine.
He added that the anti-counterfeit operations were carried out in 23 countries including Kenya.
However, Mr Roge said the challenge of illicit and counterfeit medicine in Kenya was minimal compared to other African countries.
Countries in Africa facing major challenges of illicit and counterfeit medicines, he added, include the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Niger.
On the African continent, he said, about 100,000 people are suspected die every year due to the use of illicit and counterfeit medicine.
He revealed that there are factories in some African countries which make fake medicine.
"There is need for countries to combine efforts in addressing the challenge of counterfeit medicine in order to save lives," he said.
Mr Roge added that illicit and counterfeit medicine across the world is estimated at $75 billion annually.
To address the drawback, Mr Roge said there should be cooperation between countries and the concerned agencies for the war on counterfeit medicine to be won.
World Customs Organisation expert for combating counterfeiting and piracy, Sandra Wens, said the African countries should join forces in the war against counterfeit medicine.
Ms Wens said there is need for Customs administration and other concerned parties to cooperate, share information and networking in a bid to address the challenges of counterfeit medicine.
Chief manager of Container Freight Stations in Mombasa, Kiprono Bullut said that government agencies were working hard to stop the counterfeit medicine from entering the country's market.
Participants in the workshop included experts for combating counterfeiting and piracy, customs officials, anti-counterfeit agency officials and pharmaceutical boards' officials.
The participants attending the workshop are drawn from 27 countries including France, Mexico, Italy, Brazil, Israel, Togo, Angola, Tanzania, Kenya, Benin and Mauritius.
Feminists have been attacking politicians or opponents with buckets of excrements without any or minimal judiciary consequences. Let's turn this game around and dowse feminists with buckets of excrements. Let's see what happens.
I recently caught a glimpse of the effects of torture in action at an event honoring Maher Arar. The Syrian-born Canadian is the world’s most famous victim of “rendition,” the process by which US officials outsource torture to foreign countries. Arar was switching planes in New York when US interrogators detained him and “rendered” him to Syria, where he was held for ten months in a cell slightly larger than a grave and taken out periodically for beatings.
Arar was being honored for his courage by the Canadian Council on American-Islamic Relations, a mainstream advocacy organization. The audience gave him a heartfelt standing ovation, but there was fear mixed in with the celebration. Many of the prominent community leaders kept their distance from Arar, responding to him only tentatively. Some speakers were unable even to mention the honored guest by name, as if he had something they could catch. And perhaps they were right: The tenuous “evidence”–later discredited–that landed Arar in a rat-infested cell was guilt by association. And if that could happen to Arar, a successful software engineer and family man, who is safe?
In a rare public speech, Arar addressed this fear directly. He told the audience that an independent commissioner has been trying to gather evidence of law-enforcement officials breaking the rules when investigating Muslim Canadians. The commissioner has heard dozens of stories of threats, harassment and inappropriate home visits. But, Arar said, “not a single person made a public complaint. Fear prevented them from doing so.” Fear of being the next Maher Arar.
The fear is even thicker among Muslims in the United States, where the Patriot Act gives police the power to seize the records of any mosque, school, library or community group on mere suspicion of terrorist links. When this intense surveillance is paired with the ever-present threat of torture, the message is clear: You are being watched, your neighbor may be a spy, the government can find out anything about you. If you misstep, you could disappear onto a plane bound for Syria, or into “the deep dark hole that is Guantánamo Bay,” to borrow a phrase from Michael Ratner, president of the Center for Constitutional Rights.
But this fear has to be finely calibrated. The people being intimidated need to know enough to be afraid but not so much that they demand justice. This helps explain why the Defense Department will release certain kinds of seemingly incriminating information about Guantánamo–pictures of men in cages, for instance–at the same time that it acts to suppress photographs on a par with what escaped from Abu Ghraib. And it might also explain why the Pentagon approved the new book by a former military translator, including the passages about prisoners being sexually humiliated, but prevented him from writing about the widespread use of attack dogs. This strategic leaking of information, combined with official denials, induces a state of mind that Argentines describe as “knowing/not knowing,” a vestige of their “dirty war.”
“Obviously, intelligence agents have an incentive to hide the use of unlawful methods,” says the ACLU’s Jameel Jaffer. “On the other hand, when they use rendition and torture as a threat, it’s undeniable that they benefit, in some sense, from the fact that people know that intelligence agents are willing to act unlawfully. They benefit from the fact that people understand the threat and believe it to be credible.”
And the threats have been received. In an affidavit filed with an ACLU court challenge to Section 215 of the Patriot Act, Nazih Hassan, president of the Muslim Community Association of Ann Arbor, Michigan, describes this new climate. Membership and attendance are down, donations are way down, board members have resigned–Hassan says his members fear doing anything that could get their names on lists. One member testified anonymously that he has “stopped speaking out on political and social issues” because he doesn’t want to draw attention to himself.
This is torture’s true purpose: to terrorize–not only the people in Guantánamo’s cages and Syria’s isolation cells but also, and more important, the broader community that hears about these abuses. Torture is a machine designed to break the will to resist–the individual prisoner’s will and the collective will.
This is not a controversial claim. In 2001 the US NGO Physicians for Human Rights published a manual on treating torture survivors that noted: “perpetrators often attempt to justify their acts of torture and ill treatment by the need to gather information. Such conceptualizations obscure the purpose of torture….The aim of torture is to dehumanize the victim, break his/her will, and at the same time, set horrific examples for those who come in contact with the victim. In this way, torture can break or damage the will and coherence of entire communities.”
Yet despite this body of knowledge, torture continues to be debated in the United States as if it were merely a morally questionable way to extract information, not an instrument of state terror. But there’s a problem: No one claims that torture is an effective interrogation tool–least of all the people who practice it. Torture “doesn’t work. There are better ways to deal with captives,” CIA director Porter Goss told the Senate Intelligence Committee on February 16. And a recently declassified memo written by an FBI official in Guantánamo states that extreme coercion produced “nothing more than what FBI got using simple investigative techniques.” The Army’s own interrogation field manual states that force “can induce the source to say whatever he thinks the interrogator wants to hear.”
And yet the abuses keep on coming–Uzbekistan as the new hot spot for renditions; the “El Salvador model” imported to Iraq. And the only sensible explanation for torture’s persistent popularity comes from a most unlikely source. Lynndie England, the fall girl for Abu Ghraib, was asked during her botched trial why she and her colleagues had forced naked prisoners into a human pyramid. “As a way to control them,” she replied.
Exactly. As an interrogation tool, torture is a bust. But when it comes to social control, nothing works quite like torture.
Feminist women are the principal enemy of male sexual pleasure. The best strategy against feminism is to let droves of Arab men migrate to Europe.
